Event Volunteer – Walk For Prems – Sunday October 24th 2021

We require volunteers to assist us with our biggest fundraiser for the year “Walk for Prems” supporting families of premature and sick babies. Walk for Prems will be held on Sunday October 24th 2021, from 8am – 2pm.

We are in need of volunteers in three locations:

• South Australia – Peace Park, Sir Edwin Smith Drive, North Adelaide
• Queensland – Sandgate Foreshores Park (Arthur Davis Park) Sandgate, Brisbane
• Western Australia – Burswood Park, Matagarup-Causeway loop, Perth

Volunteers will assist with an array of tasks including registration, merchandise, manning children’s rides and activities, food stalls, handing out bottles of water, raffle ticket selling and cloakroom. It’s a fun event and we’d love to have you on board!

It’s also a great event opportunity for a corporate group to volunteer at.

The great success of this walk is due to the generosity of the volunteers that come on board each year to assist. 

We are looking for people who:
– Can work as part of a team
– Reliable and trustworthy
– Ability to lift light material
– Ability to stand for long periods
– Have a good command of spoken English
