We are a small Indigenous Corporation, Non-Profit, and Registered Charity with DGR status.
We are seeking a very special woman with experience and qualifications in Events Marketing and Events Manager to assist us with publicizing and then developing and running our camps. The Event Marketing position can be run from your home. The Event Management will require you to be living in our remote Aboriginal community from the end of March to late August. Kapululangu will cover your travel costs.
Preferably you will have formal qualifications, but you will be able to provide a CV and referees demonstrating high quality skills in Events Marketing and/or Events Management, and preferably both.
As an Events Marketer you will be experienced in and will work with CEO and Cultural Program Coordinator to develop marketing strategy, design and run a social media and public media campaign, create content for press releases, coordinate public relations events and presentations for CEO, and engage other means to market the camps.
As an Events Manager you will work with CEO and Cultural Program Coordinator in project planning, assessing event needs, planning logistics, managing the camp, ensuring compliance with OH&S standards and risk controls, manage budget, conduct a SWOT analysis, evaluate and report on the events – including providing feedback on further improvements.
