About the role

Boots For All is a not-for-profit organisation & we’re working to end barriers to sport & social inclusion across Australia.

Access to sporting goods should not be the barrier to actively participating in sport. We dissolve those barriers by providing essential sports footwear, clothing & equipment to disadvantaged teams across Australia. We dissolve the barriers to social inclusion by providing training & on-the-job work experience for young people in the Sport for All social enterprise sports store.

We need volunteers to:
* Sort & catalogue donated new & near-new sporting goods (footwear, clothing & equipment)
* Clean, polish & label donated near-new sporting goods
* Pack sports kits for individuals & teams

We host workplace volunteering teams Monday-Friday each week. Nominate your 1st 3 preferences & we will confirm your date.

For groups of up to 10 people we ask for a financial contribution of $400 (+GST) & $600 (+GST) for groups of 11-15 people, which ensures that a trained staff member is directing your team throughout the day and that your employees get the most out of their volunteering experience at Boots For All. If you would like to discuss an in-kind contribution alternative, please contact the Boots For All team at info@bootsforall.org.au

A typical Boots For All workplace volunteering day includes:

9:30am-9:50am – On You Mark, Get Set Go – involves registration & a thorough safety induction session.
9:50am-12pm – And They Are Off & Running – the morning session sets the pace of what can be achieve when a group of individuals work collaboratively towards a common goal with activities may involve sorting, cleaning, polishing, checking donated new & near-new sporting goods.

All required training will be provided to the volunteers on the day & the team will be supervised by the Program Day Manager.
