About the organisation
About inhousing
inhousing’s purpose is to improve the lives of people with disability by creating quality homes, developing inclusive technology and building inclusive neighbourhoods.
Our 2024-27 Strategic Plan outlines how we will do this through five key focus areas: amplifying tenant voice, leading quality homes of choice, strengthening community connection, advocating for sustainable homes, and fostering inclusive workplaces.
All our work is driven by a commitment to rights-based inclusion guided by the principles of:
- Personhood: People with disability can exercise personal authority.
- Citizenhood: People with disability are active citizens in the life of the community.
- Capacity building: The capacity of people with disability is enhanced, at the level of the individual, and the family and the community.
About the role
Would you like to be part of a movement to create a fully inclusive society?
Do you think segregation of people with disability is just wrong?
Do you care deeply about the rights of people with disability?
