The Anglicare Australia national office supports and coordinates the joint social policy, research and advocacy activities of the network.
About the role
Anglicare Australia is a leading national voice for social change, advocating for the people our member organisations’ support. The role of the National Media & Communications Manager position is to position and amplify the work of Anglicare Australia and its network members in the wider community, and build on their capacity to work together.
Specifically, the National Media & Communications Manager provides strategic communications and media advice, produces key materials for communication within the Anglicare Australia network, and manages external communications.
The National Media & Communications Manager plays a key role in facilitating awareness and discussion of news and information across the Anglicare network, and actively contributes to the development and delivery of Anglicare Australia’s advocacy, media and communications strategies.
The National Media & Communications Manager reports to the Deputy Director.

Conditions of employment
The position is offered full-time. Ongoing employment is subject to a satisfactory 3-month probationary period.
Salary in the range of $65,000 – $80,000 dependent upon qualifications will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The role is currently based in Ainslie, ACT. However, occasional interstate travel may be required.
