Intereach is a community-based organisation delivering services to support and develop the wellbeing of young people, families and communities. In partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Intereach will be delivering Local Area Coordination (LAC) as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the Loddon region. LAC roles will be based in Bendigo, Echuca and Kyneton and will oversee service across the six shires of Campaspe, Central Goldfields, Greater Bendigo, Loddon, Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander.

LAC services enable people with disability, their carers and family to maximise the choice and control they have over the services they receive by planning and coordinating with community organisations as well as mainstream services.

You have a proven track record of leading effective and cohesive teams in establishing key community relationships and developing the community’s capacity to support and be accessible to people with a disability. As a subject matter expert on at least one key area in disability, you are passionate about driving your team to deliver high quality disability services.

You are outcomes-focused, working swiftly and accurately, and take a person-centred approach to everything you do. You embrace diversity and empower others to participate and contribute to their full potential.
