About the role
Leading a small team, you will develop and implement strategies that optimise performance across digital, EDM and social platforms to increase the awareness of WWF-Australia’s brand and drive the acquisition and engagement of supporters. To achieve this, you will work closely with Fundraising using your expert knowledge of performance-based marketing tools and your experience in planning, implementing, executing and tracking digital marketing campaigns to achieve engaging journeys for financial and non-financial supporters.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a hands-on technical role working within a committed mission-driven culture. It is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about innovation, testing and continuous improvement within digital channels, and using data and insights to drive campaigns that have a direct impact on WWF’s environmental conservation and sustainable development goals.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated high level technical skills & experience in developing integrated digital marketing & social media strategies that drive acquisition, engagement & conversion outcomes.
- Expert knowledge & extensive experience using performance-based digital marketing tools & analytics, including GA, SEO, SEM, remarketing & programmatic.
- Experience with a tier one marketing automation platform (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce) including audience segmentation, supporter journey mapping, engagement & retention.
- Experience in email campaign management in an eCommerce or fundraising environment.
- Extensive current knowledge of social media, digital tools, technology & content platforms.
- Sound knowledge of industry best practice email, social media & digital marketing standards.
- Demonstrated people management experience including an ability to coach & lead a team to high performance.
- Well-developed organisational, & deliver against deadlines.
