Greening Australia tackles Australia’s environmental challenges with the best science and the best people, to return life and balance to landscapes in ways that work for communities, economies and nature.
Our major landscape campaigns are inspirational and make a significant conservation impact for people and nature to thrive, including Reef Aid and Tasmania Island Ark, as well as developing campaigns around Indigenous Australia, Green Cities and Southern Australia.
The Role
An opportunity exists to grow private funding support for our campaigns, in some cases matched by government.
The purpose of the position is to secure funds for Greening Australia through a portfolio of assigned donors including high net worth individuals, foundations and regular donors. The Philanthropy Executive will be accountable for identifying, acquiring and stewarding donors ensuring that as many as possible are retained as continuing donors to Greening Australia and are upgraded in their giving and involvement.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated major gift fundraising skills and experience (7-10 years) in the charity sector with demonstrated results of acquisition, retention and upgrading of donors.
