About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the RTO Manager is responsible for leading the scheduling and implementation of training programs to meet contract and budget forecasts; formulating business development initiatives; and overseeing the regulatory, compliance and funding contract requirements of being a Victorian registered training organisation.

 

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Management and leadership of training team
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of annual training delivery and business plans
  • Liaison with government departments and other divisions within Brite to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop and manage budgets
  • Prepare and submit tenders, grant submissions and funding acquittals related to training delivery
  • Oversee quality management, compliance and funding requirements across all accredited training operations (including meeting VRQA, AQF, AQTF, NSSC, standards and regulations, the 2016 VRQA Guidelines for VET Providers, Victorian Training Guarantee (VTG) contract and delivery requirements and ACFE contract requirements

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar management role within an RTO
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40110 or an in-depth understanding  of accredited training delivery requirements (you must have a willingness to undertake the qualification if you do not hold a current TAE40110)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management / Education and/or Vocational Education and Training will be well regarded
  • High standard computer skills (including Microsoft Office and VETtrak or a similar Student Management System)
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of communicating with people from all walks of life
