FOUR PAWS Australia has recently commenced operations and is looking for an experienced Data Manager who can deliver “best in class” data services to achieve the organisations objectives. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of the organisational plans, strategies and growth based on data insights and working directly with the fundraising and supporter relations teams.

The Role

Your role will involve evaluating and optimising programs and the overarching responsibility of continuous development of efficient data processing and maximising supporter engagement and retention. Specifically you will:

• Ensure data quality, integrity and security of the database and data warehouse
• Take overall responsibility for the transfer and provision of data
• Produce effective and insightful analytical tools to monitor and evaluate supporters
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive policy and procedures manual
• Provide “Help Desk” assistance and training to all database users in order for them to be able to perform their day to day duties

Skills Required

You have experience in a similar role in an INGO or not for profit. You have significant experience in:

• Ability to manipulate, analyse and display data
• Accurately using databases, Raisers Edge and Fundraising experience is essential
• Demonstrated experience using data analysis to formulate feedback for key stakeholders
• Ability to create complex queries and exports and data extracts
• Ability to multi-task and set-up/manage a number of projects and activities
