About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join Sacred Heart on a permanent full time basis. The role will draw on your organisational leadership capabilities to implement our service model and our practice frameworks. You will work closely with the Executive Director Client Services to enable the development and embedding of a service excellence culture.
You will lead the operations of our ongoing support services, supported by a talented and skilled team of Managers, Coordinators and direct service staff. The key accountabilities for this role will be:
– Leading and supporting a team of managers to oversee the delivery of effective, efficient, high quality and integrated services.
– Implementing the Services Model and associated frameworks across program, including embedding Trauma Informed Practice across services
– Supporting the integration and the development of a consistent approach to the articulation of the service model its operating procedures and practice guidelines
– Providing leadership of client incidents and complaint management processes and the identification and management of practice and clinical risk
– Leading and monitoring practice standards, practice improvements and outcomes reporting
– Ensuring services meet contractual requirements and key performance indicators, accreditation and performance targets.
In order to be successful, you will require:
– Operational management experience within a diverse and complex community services or community health environment.
– Demonstrated understanding of the operational requirements to deliver programs such as consumer directed (CDC), individualised packages of care (NDIS), supported accommodation and residential aged care.
– Demonstrated commitment to social justice and social inclusion and the development of a strong Community Sector, including knowledge and understanding of the causes of homelessness and related social policy issues.
– Proven ability to manage, supervise and provide leadership.
– Demonstrated experience in the establishment and management of models for effective client service.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
– High level interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts.
– Strong alignment to with our organisational values of welcome, community, challenge, accountability and innovation.
– Tertiary qualification relevant to the provision of community services.
