About the role
The Victoria Law Foundation is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented individual to the role of Executive Director.
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and creative direction to the foundation’s office. Leading a team of 17, the Executive Director manages quality outcomes in implementing the board’s decisions and in the administration of the foundation.
The Executive Director initiates and develops new and effective programs in consultation with the board; as well as provides advice to the board on all matters relating to the foundation and its work; implements the foundation’s strategic plan and represents the board as required. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience at Executive Director level leading all functions of the organisation, specifically events, education, grants, communications, finance, human resources and risk. In addition, it is expected you will be a qualified lawyer, with a strong connection to and understanding of the Victorian legal system.
