Camden Community Connections (CCC) is a not-for-profit community organisation with no religious or political affiliations and who this year celebrate their 30th anniversary.  Originally founded to provide community services and facilities for the new housing developments and associated growing populations in and around Camden and Narellan, CCC now provide a range of community services across the wider Macarthur region.

About the role

  • By 2036, the Macarthur region will be home to 500,000 people
  • Realise the vision of a strong and empowered community
  • Senior role reporting to the management committee

 

The Role

With responsibility for the overall general management and direction of CCC you will provide strong and supportive leadership to the team, members and key stakeholders.  You will ensure program, funding, corporate governance, contractual and reporting requirements are met.  This will include:

  • Working with the management committee to develop and implement the strategic plan
  • Building partnerships that support the organisations work and enhance the CCC brand
  • Advocating on behalf of CCC and clients to meet the changing needs of the community

 

Skills Required

Ideally you are a senior manager with natural leadership abilities and a working knowledge of youth and community services.  You are financially astute with experience delivering advice to a board or management committee.  Your experience includes:

  • Demonstrated success in a senior role leading, motivating and developing staff
  • A proven track record identifying and securing new funding opportunities
  • Developing relationships and making representation to government and community
  • Financial management, preparation of budgets and financial analysis
