The role

Reimagine what it means to volunteer with Red Cross through the development of new ways to engage (virtual, programmed, skilled, spontaneous) and take action for good in the community. Reporting to the Director, Volunteering and working towards outcomes of our ambitious Strategy 2020, the Manager, Volunteer Participation leads approaches to support State and Territories teams establish volunteer and engagement hubs, develops key strategic relationships and partnerships and identifies opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of volunteering experiences.

About you

You have extensive knowledge and experience of the voluntary sector – including key trends, emerging opportunities and practice learning. Your application will demonstrate your creative and inspiring approach toward developing and implementing transformative organisation wide outcomes related to volunteering and community engagement. You have proven senior leadership and strategic relationship development abilities.
