We have been assisting the most vulnerable in the community since 1851. The position is based at Narre Warren only 30 minutes south of the city via the Monash Freeway.

About the role

The Manager NDIS and Transition is vital in driving Windermere’s readiness to deliver consumer directed care within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework.

Reporting to the Director, Community Services and Business Development , this role will continue to develop the organisation’s capabilities to deliver NDIS and build internal capacity and collaboration across the organisation to ensure continuous systems enhancement, service improvement and growth of Windermere’s Fee for Service models.

The role will provide strong leadership and support to staff through a period of change and transition and, using the principles of Appreciative Inquiry, will
contribute to and implement program goals and ensure that Community Services plans strengthen all life areas of individuals, children and families within Windermere’s Disability, ECIS and NDIS services.

To be successful you will be a dynamic leader with demonstrated experience in fostering highly motivated and productive work environments, especially during times of set-up, change and pressure.

Your exceptional communication and collaboration skills will help you to build strong internal and external relationships and will inspire others to work towards the achievement of organisational goals.

You will possess an in depth knowledge of the NDIS-Philosophy, business drivers, consumer eligibility requirements, service requirements, pilot sites results and lessons learned as well as program modelling and budget management.

Tertiary qualified in Social Work, Social Sciences, Welfare, Community Health or Allied Health, you will demonstrate the ability to effectively work across multiple teams in a dynamic and ever
changing environment.
