About the role
The role
This is an opportunity to work alongside the inaugural head of foundation and build this new foundation’s infrastructure so that the potential for social impact is realised.The foundation program manager will assess potential social investments of the icare foundation that will achieve its mission, vision and ambition. Responsible for overseeing the foundation’s investments through a program management, measurement and reporting framework. Lead the social impact assessment of foundation programs, meeting the needs of foundation stakeholders and consistent with evaluation guidelines established by the foundation.
About you
• Extensive involvement in the day to day management of foundation operations.
• Strong proficiency in adjudicating the quality of a proposal while having the ability to analyse high volume of applicants and monitor the outcomes of the grant through its entirety
• Experience working with third party providers to measure progress, understand potential issues and take actions to improve program outcomes.
• Experience working with Legal to develop and implement contracts for Foundation programs which provide effective protection of the Foundation’s interest.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with other funders and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience preparing high quality plans, reports and analysis to GM and/or board to provide guidance to their decision making
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage and excite employees and to tailor your advice to suit varying audiences
