Credentialed Mental Health Nurse

Full Time and Part Time positions available

Mentis Assist is seeking to recruit Credentialed Mental Health Nurses (CMHN) for our newly established Mental Health Complex Care program. The new program is for clients experiencing a severe mental illness and complex needs who do not qualify for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or Partners In Recovery (PIR). The program targets clients who are difficult to engage or are under-serviced. As such, it is likely that the spectrum of care will range from episodic mental ill health, as well as those with very high needs.

The program is comprised of a package of four core service elements:
•Clinical nursing services
•Family support and liaison
•Care coordination and liaison (clinical and non-clinical services)
•Improving access to psychiatrist and psychological care

The program provides an opportunity for experienced CMHNs to work within a supportive environment and be at the forefront in establishing the program.

The CMHNs will be based in a range of locations to meet the needs of clients living in the City of Casey, Shire of Cardinia, Mornington Peninsula Shire and City of Frankston. Full and part time positions are available.
