• Be part of Relay for Life, the world’s largest fundraising event for cancer
• Lead and motivate a team of Coordinators, in the successful delivery of volunteer led, local community fundraising events.
• Full-time permanent position – St Kilda Road, Melbourne
About your opportunity
We are seeking a Team Leader to join the Relay For Life Events team. Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will:
• Lead, train and motivate a team of Cancer Council Coordinators to effectively engage with local communities to deliver successful events throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria
• Identify opportunities to recruit new, dedicated and skilled volunteers, and enhance volunteer engagement.
• Ensure appropriate resources and processes are in place for the team to deliver successful events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, enabling stronger engagement with the community and our supporters.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
• 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a non-profit environment; and degree qualifications in business streams or related
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team of relationship-driven individuals, with exceptional leadership skills and the capacity to mentor, develop and empower a team
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and effectively manage relationships with varied stakeholders
What we can offer you
This full-time permanent position provides a salary within range $66,644 – $74,930 pa plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging and a meal entertainment card.
