Council to Homeless Persons is the Victorian peak body for homelessness.
About the role
The Senior Media Adviser generates media stories and provides strategic media advice to the CEO to help the Council to Homeless Persons achieve its vision of ending homelessness.
Skills:
• A well-developed understanding of what makes a strong story across all media platforms
• An ability to succeed in pitching stories to journalists
• Knowledge of the media landscape and an ability to strategically manage sensitive media issues
• Sharp, fast and clear writing.
This is an ongoing part time position of 3 days per week that is available 4 days per week for at least the first year.
