The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) is a dynamic and exciting new organisation that resolves financial disputes between Australians and financial firms like banks, investment firms and financial advisers.

About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to support senior leaders in the design and implementation of specialist internal communications and engagement activity for AFCA. This involves providing engaging and focused communications to internal stakeholders as well as managing the range of internal communications in line with AFCA’s strategic goals.
Typically, in this role you will:
- Plan and deliver all internal and change communications and activities
- Develop, implement and manage AFCA’s internal communications strategy
- Build and optimize AFCA’s internal communications function across multiple sites
- Provide specialist advice to senior business stakeholders
- Implement strategies and services aligned with staff engagement and the objectives of the People and Culture team
- Facilitate the achievement of AFCA’s business plan objectives
About you
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience as a specialist internal communications practitioner, with a change communications focus
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of modern communications principles
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- The ability to write, edit and produce highly effective and professional communications solutions across a range of modern media and channels
- Service driven focus, with a strong focus on supporting the organisation’s goals

Salary
The salary for this role is $130,000.00 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation, based on skills and experience.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced specialist in internal communications to develop and implement the internal communications strategy for our organisation. The Manager – Internal and Change Communications will lead a newly developed team to ensure our organisation communicates in a highly engaging, timely and professional manner with our stakeholders.
