Hutt St Centre “the Centre” is a work of the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul and the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide. It is a place of hope and opportunity, helping people facing homelessness to rebuild their lives, without judgement.
About the role
Reporting to a strong, diverse and experienced Board we are seeking a forward-thinking CEO as the flag bearer of the charism, values and brand of the Centre to challenge the status quo acting with relentless courage to deliver best practice services, solutions and outcomes for our friends ensuring their voice is heard in everything we do.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven CEO leadership within and extensive knowledge of the not for profit sector, particularly in the areas of social equity, homelessness and its causes and effects. You will be experienced in establishing diverse collaborative networks locally, nationally, internationally, that embrace not just traditional partners, but clients, academia, NGOs and government plus the ability to genuinely leverage and manage those networks to mutual benefit.
Your ability to embrace collaboration and capability to lead, motivate and empower a team is vital as is your adaptability and change agility to develop and nurture innovation and leverage funding opportunities aligned to the strategic intent of the Centre.
Undoubtedly one of the most exciting CEO roles in the market, this Adelaide based position will appeal to a highly credible, authentic and caring leader who builds, drives and leads the appropriate culture to deliver great performance from staff and volunteers to achieve the best outcomes for clients and funders.
Your financial acumen, supported by tertiary qualifications in a related field, includes the ability to develop budgets, allocate and manage resources, and deliver quality services consistent with financial resources/ budgetary constraints to meet contractual requirements.
Your alignment and commitment to the core values of the Daughters of Charity together with high level communication skills will enable you to actively promote the work of the Centre and build the brand and its financial sustainability.
