Change is occurring
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is rolling out and we need a person who will coordinate, plan for and drive the success of this Scheme. People leadership is a key focus, as is stakeholder management and facilitating staff to continue to optimise service excellence. Your business acumen will ensure long term longevity for the organisation.
About the role
The role of the Chief Executive Officer is to lead and manage the operations of Midwest Community Living Association, to achieve the objectives of the organisation within the strategic and policy directions set by the Board and oversee the transition to NDIS.
MWCLA’s objective is to foster a dynamic and exemplary support network in disability services.
The CEO’s commitment to MWCLA’s Mission and Vision is essential. All decisions and actions taken by the CEO must align with the core values.
All interactions with the board, staff and stakeholders must be undertaken in a spirit of honest and open communication.

About you
- Your passion is centred in the community and improving our clients’ lives inspires you
- You’re an experienced, values-based leader with a demonstrated ability to build effective, capable and collaborative teams and you are used to reporting to a board of directors
- You have experience working in Not for Profit and/or Disability Services and Community Housing sectors
- Your relationship management and people skills are exceptional
- You understand the need to carefully plan and prepare for success around change management.
