About the role
Are you someone who is strategic, used to working to targets, driven by outcomes with excellent people and communication skills?
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about impactful marketing and communications, able to work with dedicated healthcare professionals to support our growing community and region.
You will have:
• Creative flair and a passion for storytelling
• An engaging and inspiring leadership style
• Exceptional project management skills and an ability to juggle competing demands
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to interact with people from all walks of life
• A compassionate coaching style of team management to get the best out of your people.
It is an exciting time for BHS as we reach the midpoint of our BHS2022 strategy. With new tools and processes up and running in the communications team (such as a soon-to-be-launched new website), it is time for a creative and inspiring leader to create a brand strategy and content plan to take our communications to the next level.
The Head of Marketing and Communications is a new leadership role for BHS. The successful applicant will develop and implement the first comprehensive brand strategy, including a visual brand refresh and content plan that will increase our proactive storytelling. You will have experience and subject matter expertise to provide guidance on contemporary ways to utilise digital solutions and collaborative approaches for internal and external communications.
This role will build on existing activities and channels, identify new opportunities and work across BHS at all levels to support communications activities. Responsible for managing all aspects of campaigns, you will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be required to pitch in at all levels to ensure success – this includes writing compelling copy across a range of mediums for a variety of audiences. This role will also monitor, evaluate and report on activity and on success against targets.
