About the role
Are you looking for an opportunity to move into Advancement (fundraising and philanthropy) in the higher education sector? Tired of commuting to Sydney CBD every day?
The Office of Advancement is looking for a Stewardship and Donor Relations professional to join the team.
The Office of Advancement leads the University’s philanthropy strategy and programs, engaging with donors and other stakeholders and fostering long term relationships for the University. It works to ensure that a strong culture of philanthropic giving advances its teaching, learning and research agendas.
The Development Officer, Stewardship and Donor Relations role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong written and verbal communication skills to join an energetic team of fundraising professionals. The role will allow you to work across a diverse range of programs including (but not limited to!) impact reporting, events, and communications, in a friendly, flexible environment.
With a broad remit to strengthen and manage the University’s relationships with donors through specialised and frequent contact, the Stewardship & Donor Relations team is responsible for acknowledging, thanking and recognising donors for their philanthropic gifts. Beyond this, the team is responsible for demonstrating the impact of philanthropy on the University’s students, research and teaching and learning programs, and how that impact extends to the community.
