General Manager

This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a new, dynamic role within a leading rights-based organisation. As the organization grows we require a highly efficient General Manager who will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work alongside an established team of managers who will continue to oversee the areas of legal, advocacy and education services. The General-Manager role will have multiple areas of responsibility so the successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to effectively delegate, manage often competing priorities and deadlines with multiple stakeholders. The role will work closely with the CEO and oversee projects that involve external consultants and stakeholders. This is a change management role and will work with the CEO to identify key resource needs in a complex growing organisational environment. In the absence of the CEO the General Manager role will manage day-to-day organizational operations and interface with the Board. This new role is an evolving role and there will be scope to shape the position based on consultation with the CEO. While working closely with the CEO and assisting that role the new General-Manager role will act as Second-in-Charge when required. Please review Position Description attached
