About the organisation
BRITE is a profit for purpose social enterprise that has successfully operated a number of business units for over 40 years. We are a registered training organisation, nursery and packing and dispatch warehouse. We produce and market our own food products and are a key business in the Hume City Manufacturing Hub. The organisation has over 240 staff and supported employees. We provide training pathways and employment for adults living with an intellectual disability. The organisation is nationally recognised as a key service provider under the NDIS.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Non Executive Director, Treasurer to join the Board, (2 year tenure). Accounting, financial management, audit and risk evaluation and management skills are required. Having an understanding of the challenges of the NDIS is desirable. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate an empathy with the values of the organisation and has a commitment to working with a community based NFP.
