About the organisation
Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is the national representative organisation for children and young people with disability aged 0 to 25 years. Our vision is that children and young people with disability living in Australia are afforded every opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential, and that their rights and interests as individuals, members of a family and community are met.
About the role
This is an opportunity to contribute to a project with the potential to impact the lives of many people with disability across Australia, by building community understanding of the National Redress Scheme.
We have an important opportunity for someone with project management experience to join us and support the delivery of our ongoing work supporting children and young people with disability and relevant stakeholders to understand and engage with the National Redress Scheme and associated support services.
Reporting to the Policy and Programs Manager, as the Project Coordinator – National Redress Scheme you will undertake vital work to raise awareness of the Redress Scheme and the opportunities for survivors to receive accessible support.
CYDA deeply values lived experience. People with a lived experience of disability or family connection with disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
