Interchange Inner East (IIE) has for more than forty years provided services to children and young adults with a disability and their families. IIE provides options for recreation, community activities, respite and support.  The organisation is driven by a spirit of empowerment, the provision of extremely high-quality services, inclusion, safety and security of participants and sustainability. Services are delivered by a highly capable staff and volunteers supported by effective and evolving culture, structures and processes.

You will maintain and build on an extremely wide range of stakeholder relationships, optimising opportunities to build enduring partnerships. 

You are a senior executive with substantial leadership experience, possibly but not necessarily in the disability sector.  You are strongly committed to the empowerment and support of people with disabilities and you pride yourself on your interpersonal leadership skills and your strategic thinking capacity.  You are an effective communicator who relishes the opportunity to relate to and partner with recipients of services, family members, and counterparties in other organisations and government.
