About the role
This Coordinator role has a strong emphasis on supporting our team of disability support workers in the field. You will be the main contact person for customers and support workers. You will need to have exceptional communication, listening and writing skills to deliver fantastic stakeholder support. You will also have a strong practice of collaboration and a growth mindset based on regular feedback and self-reflection.
The Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to:
- Providing support and guidance to support workers in the field
- Answering enquiries from customers, employees and stakeholders via email, phone and social media
- Manage rosters and scheduling of business activities
- Manage correspondence and emails from shared inboxes, ensuring items are flagged for action and followed up appropriately
- Prepare customer service agreements and other support documents
- Manage the organisation and Director’s calendars and schedules
- Research, collate and coordinate business documents to support business operations

Essential Criteria
- Experience working with people with disability or direct lived experience
- Qualifications in community services, disability, health care or other relevant field (or working towards qualification) or relevant experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in the disability, health or community services sector
- A current driver’s licence.
- A current first aid and CPR certificates
- A Working with Children Check
- Police Check (less than 12 months old)
Desirable
- Experience as a coordinator in a disability organisation
- Experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Experience and exposure to coordinating and allocating support services to people within their homes and community
- Experience with rostering using a rostering software
