About the organisation
Easy Care Gardening Inc is a Not for Profit Organisation that provides gardening for frail aged people, and their carers, to help them remain in their own homes. Our area covers Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Ryde and Hunters Hill local government areas. In addition we have Community Assist Lawn Mowing service which provides subsidies to clients for lawn mowing in 9 local government areas.
Our values are to provide empathy to our clients and giving them the best gardening service as well as friendship over morning or afternoon tea. To achieve this we are reliant upon volunteers to work in gardening teams. There are gardening teams that go out 6 days per week. In addition volunteers can participate in other areas including lawn mowing, office work, tool maintenance and one off projects.
About the role
This full time position is for 38 hours per week spread over 5 days. Occasionally there are meetings to attend out of hours when time in lieu can be accrued.
Manage Easy Care Gardening (ECG) in the delivery of Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) aged-care services provided by ECG & CALM (Community Assist Lawn Mowing). Oversee the implementation of funding requirements and Quality Standards. Ensure service delivery is in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the organisation and as directed by the Management Committee (the Committee). Provide information and feedback to stakeholders including aged-care clients.
