About the opportunity
Uniting Vic.Tas together with our partners: Gippsland and East Gippsland Aboriginal Co-operative (GEGAC) are seeking multiple Youth Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) Support Workers to join our Traralgon Youth Residential Rehabilitation program.
The Youth Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) Support Worker contributes to the provision of a safe and hospitable environment for young people participating in residential AOD rehabilitation. The scope of the role includes ensuring that all aspects of residential stay are supported across a 24 hour, seven day a week roster.

About you
We are seeking candidates with tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, community Services or other relevant allied health discipline including cert IV, Diploma and above, certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or the required competencies in AOD and qualifications in dual diagnosis (or willingness to undertake). You will also have demonstrated experience in the provision of assessment and counselling services (preferably to dual diagnosis clients). You must also be available and willing to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
