About the role

The Practice Manager supports the clinical governance processes of RACR, to develop, maintain, and manage the quality of the therapeutic practice and associated services operating within Relationships Australia Canberra & Region. Therapeutic services refer to any counselling, relationship and parenting education, and specialised programs delivered by Relationships Australia Canberra & Region.

It also refers to any group work, peer support, community engagement, casework or project that operates as a therapeutic service or any therapeutic work undertaken by the RACR.

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:

1. An appropriate tertiary qualification in, social science, social work, psychology, counselling, clinical work or a related area, and current registration with the appropriate professional body.

2. Experience leading a counselling team that delivers a diverse range of services including for individuals, children and young people, couples and families.

3. Demonstrated understanding of the drivers, contributing factors, assessment and risk management relevant to family violence, and experience and skills in the use of a systematic framework.

4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate a smooth transition for clients who may need other services or supports.

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is in the range of $97,918.49 to $103,259.16 per annum plus superannuation for full time. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
