As Plan International Australia embarks on a significant transformational program, you will be a key player in this newly created structure, enabling change to deliver a next generation social impact organisation.
Leadership
Together with your colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure the adoption of safeguarding policies and feminist leadership principles, ensuring whole of organisational alignment with the mission and values of the organisation. Crucially you will lead by example, steering organisational strategy, performance and culture to transform PIA into a next generation social impact organisation.
The Role
Melbourne-based, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and sitting on the executive team, this critical role will engage and inspire Australian audiences about PIA’s mission and work for social change and drive growth and ambition in public fundraising. By steering whole-of-organisation strategy your role will contribute to the evolution of the Plan International Federation through participation in global change projects. Specifically you will:
- Drive strategic, impactful engagement with the Australian public, partners and institutions
- Lead the Engagement to Action division to align team objectives with organisational strategy
- Facilitate strategic partnerships and investments and steward fundraising activities
- Embed marketing acumen across all communications and engagement
Skills Required
You are an experienced and inclusive leader who has demonstrated experience creating sustainable organisational and cultural transformation which has driven change at scale. Your leadership will have created measurable influence and increased organisational capacity. Additionally you will be able to demonstrate:
- Delivery of strategic priorities to external stakeholders including media and government
- Ability to drive performance in key outcome areas of fundraising, marketing and influencing
- Aptitude for leading transformation in digital and data environments
- Business and financial acumen in strategic planning, budgeting and resource allocation
Importantly, you must be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team and understand the importance of cultivating a positive culture whilst navigating change.
