About the opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a passionate Adolescent Family Violence Case Managers to join the Family Violence team within our Homeless Intake and Prevention Program.
The Case Manager will provide case management support to families where young people aged 12-17 years are perpetrating family violence. The role will utilise an assertive outreach approach to engage the young person and address the issues that may be contributing to or resulting from their use of family violence. The Case Manager will ultimately aim to reduce the incidence of family violence and abuse, increase safety and stability for all family members, enhance the young person’s wellbeing, and strengthen the family’s parenting capacity.

About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description including having a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification and/or experience in line with the mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitioners.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated case management experience within the family violence and child, youth and family welfare field
- Proven ability to engage young people and families and provide assertive outreach support
- The ability to utilise a strengths-based, family-centered approach in the context of family violence
- Knowledge of the MARAM framework, Family Violence Act 2008 and the Child, Youth and Families Act 2005
- Strong communication and organisation skills
