At ActivateUTS, our purpose is to enrich the UTS student experience through the design and delivery of extracurricular opportunities that complement the University’s excellent academic programs. As a key strategic partner of the University, ActivateUTS is first and foremost a student-centric organisation that caters for the whole UTS community, with a particular focus on the provision of co-curricular programs that complement and enhance graduate attributes. As the largest student services provider at UTS, ActivateUTS runs social events, sport and fitness programs, and manages over 180 student clubs and societies which hold over 32,000 memberships as well as a range of commercial venues including bars, a gym and café.

We are currently seeking a new CEO to lead the next chapter of our organisation’s growth. As the CEO, you will leverage our strong capacity for innovation by drawing together our strengths in digital and face-to-face program and service delivery. You will be ably supported by our talented and committed staff; our energetic, friendly, and collegiate culture; and our access to the excellent facilities on the UTS Campus and at other key sites.

Working with the ActivateUTS team and Board, with senior UTS leaders and, most importantly, with student representatives, you will build strategic relationships across the University. You will lead with integrity and transparency, ensuring alignment of ActivateUTS strategy with the University’s broader goals and overseeing a financial plan that enables us to meet our organisational objectives. The result will be an enhanced campus life offering that embodies our values of diversity and social justice and enriches the UTS student experience long into the future.
