About the organisation
Formed in 1980, and based at Kurrajong Community Centre, McMahons Rd, Kurrajong in the Hawkesbury, North West of Sydney.
HCOS works with groups of participants who live in the Hawkesbury area, or with participants who share a common identity within the Hawkesbury to provide a diverse range of community services and programs with a particular focus on disadvantaged members.
These services range from Information and Referral services, photo copying and fax services, Community Development, Child, Youth & Family Services, Mobile Pre-School, Playgroup, Before & After School Care, Vacation Care, Mobile Minders Service, Seniors and varying skills and health programs.
HCOS is a not for profit organisation administrated by a voluntary Management Committee.

HCOS Inc. is a dynamic Community organisation based in Kurrajong servicing the Hawkesbury district.
HCOS has two vacancies for Community Team Members: Permanent Part Time up to 25 hours per week. SCHCADS Industry Award.
Become part of a motivated and supportive team based at Kurrajong Community Centre.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive skills and experience in the provision of Community, Youth, Child and Family Services.
- Case Management skills and experience are essential.
- Event Management skills and experience are essential.
- Knowledge of Department of Communities and Justice, Program Level Agreements.
- Knowledge of, or willing to learn DEX data collection process.
- Ability to facilitate school-based and early childhood programs.
- Experience in working with a Community Management Committee and with a dynamic multi
disciplined non-profit organisation. - Driving licence and comprehensive insured vehicle
- Covid Double Vaccination Certificate or Medical Exemption Certificate
This position is subject to a ‘Criminal Police Check’ and a ‘Working with Children Check’.
