About the organisation
About Us:
At Anglicare Victoria our focus is on transforming the futures of children and young people, families and adults. Our work is based on three guiding pillars, Prevent, Protect, Empower. We offer a comprehensive network of services and seek to ensure the provision of high quality services that will bring about significant improvements in the life experience of the young people, children and families/caregivers with whom we work.
About the role
The Meridian Team is a multi-funded service. A key part of the position is within Integrated Family Services, and is a therapeutic adolescent-focused role. The role provides therapeutic interventions and systemic case management for families and young people aged 10-17 years residing in the Inner East who are experiencing difficulties in their families. This includes office-based, online and outreach service delivery. The role also provides therapeutic counselling to young people aged 15-23, and their families, who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship where this may increase the risk of homelessness for the young person. A key focus of the team is addressing adolescent violence in the home and the provision of specialist therapeutic interventions and trauma-based support for families.
Develop your therapeutic counselling, outreach, group work and case management skills by working alongside skilled and experienced practitioners.
