About the role

An exciting opportunity is available to join our team as an Area Manager to our Coastal Outlets of Nowra, Ulladulla and Bega. The Position is based in at Head Office in Nowra.  We are looking for experienced and qualified candidates, who are able to demonstrate the following essential skills in their application:
• 5 years’ experience in multi-site management in community services
• Developing and implementing KPI’s and a customer driven service culture
• Highly developed emotional intelligence and team leadership skills including conflict and performance management, decision-making and task delegation
• Qualifications in Aged Care, Disability or Community Services
• High level Marketing experience and ability to manage Special Projects to grow existing business opportunities
• A commitment to the principles of person centred care and equity
• Knowledge and understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Work Health and Safety (WHS)
• Sound financial management and the ability to work within targets and budgets
• Advanced computer efficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Highly desirable skills are:
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practise Standards
• Knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
• Experience working with volunteers
• Experience working in the Community Transport Industry
• Knowledge of the geographic areas where we provide service

The successful applicant will require:
• Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain within 1 month
• NSW criminal record disclosure
• Current NSW C Class licence
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months
• NDIS worker’s clearance or willingness to obtain within 1 month
