ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a unique opportunity to grow the emerging culture and services, and ensure an exceptional client experience. We manage most of the administration, to enable you to focus on what you do best. Together, we can facilitate an exceptional client experience where mental health matters.
We are seeking an experienced, self-sufficient, client-centred contractor (e.g. Psychologist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or Occupational Therapist). A respected, engaging professional in your field, you can sustain independent work, with exceptional ethical and practice standards. The role is to provide mental health counselling following self-referral, or GP referral through the Medicare ‘Better Access’ initiative.

ABOUT YOU
To work at My Mental Health Matters you will need:
- Qualifications as a Psychologist (Clinical/General registration), Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with additional credentials in mental health as relevant (e.g. AMHSW, BAMH endorsement OT);
- Registration (or be eligible for registration) with a Medicare provider number;
- Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, APS, AASW);
- Experience in working independently with mental health issues (primarily high prevalence disorders);
- Your own ABN & Indemnity and public liability insurance;
- A current Working with Children Check;
- A warm, autonomous and team spirited approach;
- High integrity driving evidence based practice and successful outcomes;
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in community.
