The Organisation

The Position
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with the line manager and key stakeholders for the timely completion of the month-end reporting.
The key responsibilities for this role are to:
- Lead the financial acquittal process for all programs and/or surveys as required by various Government departments
- Monthly reporting with detailed analytics and commentary on the performance of the business with trend analysis to support good operational management decisions
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations of all related accounts
- Prepare the annual operating and capital budgets/forecasts, providing detailed analysis and commentary
- Take a lead on ongoing continuous improvement of all processes to increase efficiency and data integrity
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience with the financial acquittal process for Government-funded programs, in an NFP environment (preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in accounting/ relevant professional qualification such as CPA/CA
- Strong knowledge and experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Administration of and strong experience with large/medium financial ERP systems
- Proven experience in monthly reporting and analysis
