About the role
Reporting to the Program Coordinator – Barwon, the Allocations Officer you will be responsible for the allocation and advertisement of Affordable Housing properties. As an analytical thinker you will evaluate applications from the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and VHR to provide the best match for all parties.  It will be a matter of balancing the day-to-day allocation needs whilst also providing excellent support and customer service to both our clients and the housing team – a good mix of analytical, administrative, and people focus.Â

As the successful candidate you will be an analytical thinker with strong administrative experience, who preferably has worked in the housing sector. With a high passion for customer at the core, you will deliver professional and genuine support to our consumers. Previous experience and qualifications in housing management, in particular social and affordable housing are desirable. If you are happy to roll up your sleeves to manage your own day-to-day activities, whilst supporting the success of the wider team this will could be a position for you!
