About the role
We are seeking someone who is passionate about increasing awareness of the importance of sleep for our physical and mental health. The Finance Committee of the Sleep Health Foundation Board requires someone with financial credentials to oversee all of our financial activities, including:
- helping with setting and sticking to our annual budget
- preparing and checking the financial statements prior to each board meeting (second monthly)
- helping with the board’s financial reporting requirements each year
The successful candidate would not need to sit on the board or attend board meetings, rather just oversee the Finance Committee that meets for 1/2 hour per month. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated qualified professional who can work independently as well as within a team.
