We currently provide services throughout the Geelong region, Wyndham, western Melbourne, Warrnambool and South West Victoria with offices in Geelong, Werribee, Footscray, and Warrnambool.
Services includes early intervention and therapy, support coordination, group recreation and skill development activities, individual in-home support as well as parent support and education, day activities, housing and support for adults as well as children in out of home care.

Gateways Support Services, is an established community organisation with a 40 year history offering specialised support services to children, adolescents and adults with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs. Gateways delivers quality early intervention services, specialised therapy and is a leading regional disability provider. Reporting to the CEO you will enjoy being a partner in bringing our strategic direction to life. With people at the forefront of design thinking you will blend your experience in organisational design, capability frameworks and L&D creating a genuine interface of compassion, humanity, fun and practicality.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR Executive to lead, align and transform the business in a period of growth and change in line with sectorial movement and in line with the organisations’ business strategy.
Your innate ability to understand people and business challenges, combined with HR knowledge to enable a diverse workforce to thrive, calls on technical competence but should speak to your own values and integrity as a Senior Leader.
Excited and enthused about your ability to deliver, you will help the Executive ‘look to tomorrow while managing the challenges of today’.
Values-based leadership will be supplemented by appreciating the commercial reality of diverse business units in a large and complex disability organisation. You will be confident, inquisitive and analytical, identifying new improvements and initiatives whilst utilising your creative problem-solving capabilities .
In addition, to be successful, you will have
- experience operating at a senior level within a Human Resources and people and culture landscape with a proven ability to influence and deliver change strategy across an organisation
- knowledge and experience in leading contemporary practice across all aspects of Human Resources including operational planning, organisational development, employee relations, safety, training and legislative compliance.
- experience in working with multiple awards with an ability to design frameworks that can adapt to future change.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related discipline is essential.
