For 25 years, national charity the Alannah & Madeline Foundation has worked to safeguard every child’s right to live free from violence and bullying. We recognise the dangers children face today are increasingly complex, so we innovate, adapt and respond. The Foundation also supports Dolly’s Dream, educating and empowering families and communities to prevent the devastating effects of bullying.

This role is formally based at our new office in South Melbourne. We support our staff to work flexibly at the Foundation, both in location and hours, based on the premise that work will remain the focus of any arrangement. How and where you work is discussed with each staff member based on individual circumstances, role requirements and accountability for delivery of high-quality work.
About the role
The role:
Reporting into the Head of Program Innovation & Design (PID), this 3 year contract role will work with different areas of the Foundation to drive innovation and help us achieve our strategic priorities in key program areas.
You would be responsible for:
- Developing and leading the Children and Young People Participation Framework.
- Supporting the development and delivery of quality programs, projects and activities.
- Ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved for funded projects.
- Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and organisations.
- Contributing to the position of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation & Dolly’s Dream as a strong voice for digital safety, prevention of bullying and child rights led approach.
Experience required:
- 2 years’ experience in executing projects or initiatives.
- Experience working with children and young people in a co-design environment.
- Ability to use child-centred and participatory practice in work.
- Experience managing numerous projects simultaneously.
- A qualification in education, social sciences, public health or similar.
