The position will operate with flexibility across multiple sites and will be part of an innovative high performing Executive team who has a bold and ambitious strategy.

 

Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for driving growth through the preparation and writing of submissions to expand funding, create and scale new business in line with the Strategic business plan, while maintaining key stakeholder relationships with partner organisations, funding bodies and community. You will be responsible for securing funding and building strong ongoing relationships with key supporters and corporates to support the ongoing growth of Kids First. You will also;

 

  • In conjunction with the Deputy CEO, plan and deliver strategic projects and initiatives to help grow the organisation.
  • Support the CEO and Deputy CEO in the planning and delivery of strategic projects and initiatives to help grow the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities to secure funding from Government and other sources to help drive Kids First’s growth in line with their strategic business plan.
  • Proactively manage tender, bid and proposal opportunities and timelines.
  • In partnership with the senior Executive, lead the creation of merger and acquisition opportunities and their evaluation.

 

Your extensive Business background and relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Public Policy, Social Work or related field will compliment your strong leadership and business development kills. You will have proven experience in senior management with a focus on business growth through tender and grant applications and demonstrate an ability to strategies and develop business plans to support ongoing growth. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the complex social and service system issues that impact children and families and can demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and manage priorities and time effectively and have excellent writing skills.
