Our office is currently located in the St Kilda Road precinct overlooking Albert Park Lake; however, we are planning to move to the north-west corner of the CBD towards the end of 2022. Our staff balance working from the office as well as from home. 

Due to recent expansion of our operations, we are now seeking an experienced and competent Organisation and Methods Analyst to join our Melbourne-based Victorian team.

Due to recent expansion of our operations, we are now seeking an experienced and competent Organisation and Methods Analyst to join our Melbourne-based Victorian team.    

Terms and Remuneration

This is a permanent position and is being offered on a full-time basis. Work hours will total 37.5 hours per week, with standard working hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary package starting from $70,000 per annum plus superannuation. A laptop and mobile phone will be provided for business purposes.    

Duties

Your duties will include:

  • Researching various industry sectors in order to understand their operation, emerging trends, previous major projects and any other relevant information.
  • Undertaking review and analysis of organisational operation, workflow, systems and policy and provide recommendations to achieve objectives.
  • Identify and discuss organisational and procedural deficiencies and their solutions with clients.
  • Advising Victorian government agencies and industry on the Victorian State Government “Local Jobs First Policy” (“LJF”) and support end-to-end delivery of the LJF to State Government projects and procurements.
  • Supporting and advising Government agencies and departments on VMC processes, including tender, management, and Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) responses.
  • Administering information flow through our internal databases.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly and bi-monthly reports.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, especially local industry and government departments.
  • Identifying sector capability across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Assisting in implementation of policies and recommendations to deliver outcomes within specified timeframes.

Reporting

This position works under the supervision of the manager of our Customer Products and Services Executive Manager and reports to our Business Capability Lead.

Selection Criteria

Successful candidates must possess the following core competencies and credentials:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Science, or ability to demonstrate significant industry experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office suite, proficiency with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Understanding of End-to-End supply chain mapping.
  • A minimum of two (2) years professional experience in a comparable role.
  • Strong analytic and research skills.
  • An indefinite and unrestricted right to work and reside within Australia.
