Reporting to the Director, Development (Campaign and Planned Giving), and leading a small team, the Senior Planned Giving Manager will lead the University’s bequest strategy, utilising moves management process to identify high value bequests and develop meaningful relationships with supporters to secure planned gifts. This position is also responsible for the timely realisation of estate gifts, managing communication with estate representatives and working collaboratively with Faculties on gift implementation. In conjunction with the Giving Programs team, this position will also co-lead the annual supporter survey and build a culture of planned giving within ERDA, and the wider Monash community.
About YOU
- Experienced in leading or managing a bequest or major gifts program, with a record of achieving targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven record of success in relationship fundraising,
including donor cultivation and gift solicitation - Demonstrated experience in leading strategic growth of a significant fundraising portfolio
- Stakeholder engagement skills, and ability to operate effectively in a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience in a line management position, a champion of workplace culture, helping a team to
drive high performance, engagement and the achievement of annual KPIs - Relevant tertiary qualifications, CFRE or membership of Fundraising Institute of Australia is highly regarded
