About the opportunity
The Centre Cook will be responsible for planning, ordering, shopping, preparing and serving balanced meals and snacks that meet the nutritional, medical, dietary and cultural needs and preferences of the children attending the service. This position is also responsible for monitoring the food budget, as well as overseeing all kitchen operations.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desired but not essential)
- Extensive knowledge of safe food handling practice and procedures
- Experience in planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for young children.
