About the role

This role  

The key focus of the Program Designer and Facilitator role is teaching leadership development in group settings. This includes designing learning programs and delivery through teaching and facilitation in the group.

However, as a team, the Program Designer and Facilitator roles will be jointly accountable for developing and facilitating a high quality, integrated suite of leadership development programs for LV. The combined Program Design and Delivery Team will be supported by a team leader to facilitate annual and strategic coordinate planning, systems and processes and delivery of agreed outcomes across the whole team.

Key Responsibilities  

As part of the Program Design and Delivery team you will,

  • Contribute to the design, planning and delivery of a contemporary and consistent suite of outstanding leadership programs and experiences to deliver LV’s vision and impact
  • Together with the other Program Designers and Facilitators, develop LV’s integrated leadership program offering to reflect clear, consistent LV leadership development approaches, methodologies, principles, and impact
  • Administer program delivery including the booking of speakers and provision of speaker briefs
  • Co-create and lead program delivery including residential retreats, creative events and curated experiences
  • Maximise accessibility to, and support in LV programs for participants from diverse backgrounds including people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTIQ, people with CALD backgrounds, young and emerging leaders and women in all their diversity
  • Ensure the ongoing evolution of LV programs through robust evaluation and demonstration of LV’s impact
  • Contribute to the development LV’s annual program plan, including measurable, clear outcomes
  • Help develop strategic networks and partnerships to increase LV’s impact
  • Collaborate with Business Development team to ensure marketability of LV suite of programs, and co-design customised leadership development programs to reflect customer requirements and LV leadership principles
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

 

You will also contribute to strategic projects across LV as they arise, with the opportunity to take the lead on some.

This role reports to the CEO.

The skills, experience, and qualification you bring will include:  

  • Outstanding group facilitation and teaching skills – you can bring out the wisdom from a group of people you are facilitating as much as teaching leadership concepts
  • Strong knowledge and practice of teaching adaptive leadership principles
  • Adept at program design of leadership programs and workshops
  • Expertise in partnering with clients to co-create impactful leadership development interventions
  • Excellent communicator, confident in engaging and proactively managing diverse stakeholder groups across government, business, and community sectors from grassroots to most senior levels
  • Highly organised, able to plan, manage and deliver multiple projects with poise and grace
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and expertise
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications together with senior experience in developing and delivering complex and innovative leadership development programs across diverse cohorts and in diverse contexts.

 

The following skills are optional, but would be considered favourably:

  • Skilled in Case In Point teaching methodology
  • Harthills Leadership Development Profile Accreditation
  • An accredited coach (with the International Coaching Federation or similar)

 

 

Terms and Conditions

There are multiple roles available ranging from 2-4 days per week.

 

In addition to standard annual leave provisions, Leadership Victoria provides 3 ‘Grace and favour’ days (on a pro-rata basis) which are to be taken in the week in which the Christmas/Boxing Day public holidays fall.

There will occasionally be a requirement to attend activities outside of normal business hours.    

 

Employment terms and conditions will be consistent with the Fair Work Act and set out in a contract of employment. Annual salary will reflect individual skills and experience.
