About the opportunity
The Foster Care Training and Recruitment Officer is responsible for recruiting and retaining foster carers, and for maintaining recruitment and marketing strategies.
This role also works to provide foster carers with training and support to ensure that they have all that is required to undertake their roles.

About you
For this role, you will have demonstrated experience working in foster care, childcare services, welfare, or social care environments.
You have previous experience in a similar role, facilitating training/information sessions and conducting pre-accreditation with a child protection focus.
Qualifications:
- Degree level qualifications in social work, psychology or related field.
- Certification as a Step-by-Step Assessor and completion of Shared Lives Training would be desirable but not essential as we will support the successful candidate to complete these training’s if required.
